A podcast allows you to automatically receive and download new audio content to your computer or portable media player. Using a podcasting software application, you can subscribe to the service and audio files will be automatically delivered to your computer or portable media player whenever a new audio file is placed on the website.

Podcast Feeds

You will need a podcasting software program or application known as a podcast receiver to subscribe to a podcast feed. There are many different podcasting software programs and applications available, some of which are free of charge. Some are available as desktop software programs or applications that you download or install. Some web-based options are available.

Once you have installed your podcast receiver, follow the instructions for your particular receiver to subscribe to the podcast topic feed that interests you. Your podcast receiver should then automatically check that podcast feed for any updates. Your podcast receiver may allow you to transfer media files to a portable media player.
